Personal & Academic Details: When applying, we collect your full name, email address, contact phone number with country dialing code, country of residence, time zone, college or university name, degree program, graduation year, selected domain, duration preference, and parent/guardian consent confirmation for minor applicants (ages 16–17).
Resume Documents: PDF resumes uploaded during application are stored in an encrypted, private storage bucket with access strictly restricted to authorized reviewers and administrators.
Task Submissions & Project Artifacts: URLs to GitHub repositories, live demo links, uploaded project files, and notes submitted during the internship.
Payment & Invoicing Information: If you claim an official completion certificate, transaction identifiers and billing names are processed securely via our authorized gateway partners: Razorpay for domestic INR transactions, and PayPal for international USD transactions. We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or net banking credentials on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To evaluate and process your internship application.
- To create your student profile, generate your unique Student ID, and issue authentication credentials.
- To communicate application status, password changes, mentor feedback, and administrative notices.
- To review project milestones and track course completion progress.
- To generate verifiable completion certificates and host public verification registries.
- To prevent fraud, multiple unauthorized account creations, and platform abuse.
4. Data Security & Storage
We employ strict technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information. All database tables utilize Row Level Security (RLS) to guarantee that student profiles, task assignments, and submission records cannot be accessed or modified by unauthorized third parties or fellow students.
All communications are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3). Application secrets and service role keys are strictly contained in secure server environments and never exposed to the client.
5. Public Certificate Verification Disclosure
When a Certificate of Completion is issued, a minimal public record is made accessible via https://indrobeams.online/verify. To enable third-party verification by recruiters and colleges, the following details are displayed publicly when queried: Certificate ID, Student Full Name, Internship Track Domain, Issue Date, and Valid Status. Private details such as phone numbers, grades, and resumes are never published on the verification page.
6. Sharing & Third-Party Processors
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers. Data is processed exclusively with trusted infrastructure partners:
- Supabase (Database, Auth, and Encrypted Storage hosting)
- Resend (Transactional email delivery for credentials and review notifications)
- Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant payment processing for domestic INR certificate issuance)
- PayPal (PCI-DSS compliant payment processing for international USD certificate issuance)
7. Your Rights, Data Portability & Deletion
Regardless of your country of residence, you have the right to request access to your personal data, request correction of inaccurate records, or request deletion of your account and uploaded submission files once your program requirements conclude.
To submit a data access or deletion request, email our team at support@indrobeams.online with your Student ID. Please note that minimal credential verification metadata (Certificate ID, Student Name, Program Domain, and Completion Status) is permanently retained in our registry to ensure verifiable authenticity for universities and prospective employers unless formally revoked.
